El Cocotazo Cafe
Beachfront cafe on Kite Beach, run by two Cabarete brothers.
El Cocotazo Cafe is listed under Restaurants in Cabarete, Dominican Republic. El Cocotazo Cafe is a family-run beachfront cafe on Kite Beach, good for coffee, lunch and happy hour after a kite session.

El Cocotazo Cafe is a beachfront restaurant in the centre of Kite Beach, Cabarete, at the Agualina hotel, right beside Cabarete Kite Point. It is owned by José Luis and Manuel, two brothers who grew up in La Cienaga, Cabarete, and opened in December 2019. It is a family operation, with Manuel's wife Minaura in the kitchen.
Because the owners are Dominican and many of the kite instructors eat here, it is a real mix of local riders and visitors, good for coffee, lunch and happy hour after a session. The name is a Dominican joke: a cocotazo is a knuckle tap on the head, nothing to do with coconuts.
