Common questions
What does verification actually involve?
We check your business against the official registers, DGII tax registration and ONAPI trade name. We also confirm we can reach you and that you serve customers in English. Verified includes everything in Claimed, so we also confirm you own or manage the business. Once the checks are passed, your listing carries the DR Verified Network badge, on the listing itself and on browse and search cards. Paying for Verified does not buy the badge on its own. It goes on once the checks are passed.
Why should I pay when the free listing already exists?
The free listing keeps your details accurate. Verified and Featured are about standing out: the badge gives expats a reason to pick you over an unchecked listing, and Featured puts you at the top of your category in your town, where the enquiries happen.
What is founding member pricing?
The directory is newly launched, and early members get 50% off the standard rate for joining first. Your founding rate stays locked in for as long as you remain a member, even after standard pricing applies to everyone else.
